Who are they?

The Network Leadership is made up of the Executive Team of Hope Chapel and the Lead Pastor of Nu Church.
What do they do?
The Network Leadership Team oversees Nu Church’s annual budget, advises the Governance Board and staff on spending patterns, and approves/denies all major financial decisions, including staff compensation and benefits, capital asset investments, as well as risk management and legal compliance across all Nu Church operations.
Governance Board
The Governance Board is comprised of elders and non-elders and is the governing body accountable for the business operations and liabilities of the 501(c)3 organization of Hope Chapel that NU Church operates under.
Jamie
Nu Church Lead Pastor
Jamie and his wife, Michelle, have been married for over twenty years and have served together in ministry since the beginning of their relationship. Serving in a variety of ministry roles and church expressions they have developed a passion to help people find Jesus and live fully for him. So much so that this is what led them to KC in 2024.
They believe that true life is found in Jesus and lived in deep community. Jamie and Michelle have two children, Braeden (soon to be married) and Rilyn and love doing life with them.
Jake & Sarah Zaske
Hope Chapel Lead Pastor
Jake and Sarah have served alongside each other in ministry for the past twenty years in diverse contexts. They followed God's calling to move to the Kansas City metro to serve as pastors of Hope Chapel (formerly Indian Creek Community Church) in 2017. They are passionate about establishing and leading healthy, thriving churches where people can experience whole-life flourishing as they find hope in Jesus and be on a lifelong mission to bring hope to others. Jake and Sarah are the proud parents to two children, Caleb and Grace.
